About Me

My name is Tara Diane Babcock,

I am a proud extrovert who has a strong passion for pursuing TV broadcasting.

I am a reporter and newscaster for 106.9 the X, which broadcasts throughout London, Ontario. I have worked as an intern at Global News for The Morning Show in Toronto and also 570 News in Kitchener.

My passion for media and writing started three years ago when I took a media course, and also a creative writing course. I loved it and ever since I've been passionate about anything media related. I love keeping up with anything news related. For a year, I was the editor and also a writer for Elmira District Secondary School's online newspaper called Lancer Lines.

I am especially interested in TV Producing, Broadcasting and Communications. I am always looking for opportunities to showcase my experience and apply my passion for Broadcast Journalism to future endeavours.
